SAT MATH This section of the SAT includes two types of questions that measure knowledge in geometry, algebra, and numerical operations - multiple choice questions and grid-in questions.
The majority of math questions are multiple choice where students must pick the correct answer out of 5 possible choices. Grid-in questions, also referred to as Student-Produced Response questions, do not follow the standard multiple choice format. For grid-in questions students are required to come up with their own responses. To receive credit the grids must be filled in properly.
